Mechanical
Engineering Intern
We have invented a new method for geothermal drilling suitable for small spaces such as basements or densely populated areas. Our entire drilling mechanism is inside a 2 m by 9cm tube that autonomously drills the borehole similar to how an earthworm would move through the ground. This drilling principle is not only very energy-efficient, but also controllable in its movement and trackable as it automatically creates a digital twin of the borehole on its way down. To develop our robot further we are now looking for your skills and enthusiasm!
